Diplomat of the American Academy for Justice Through Science Gregory Sullivan was unanimously voted as President of the InfoJustice College Board of Criminal Investigation.

After 3 years of performing admirably as an Academy Member and after demonstrating exceptional scholarly aptitude he passed all of the Academy's examinations on June 2, 1998 and  was awarded subsequently a Masters Degree in Forensic Investigative Anti-Fraud Examination and Criminal Investigations.

He was presented with his degrees at which time he was notified also that he had been unanimously elected as President of the Board of Investigation.   He stated that during his term of office he would be "striving to bring other top Criminal Investigators into advanced training in the Doctor of Philosophy Program".  Sullivan himself has quite an impressive and lengthy history in Criminal Investigations and should be completing his doctoral program shortly.

Professor Sullivan completed his first 504 hours "the prescribed courses of training in Police Science which relate directly to the occupation".  He was awarded this Certificate in the Department of Engineering and Technology, on June 15, 1967.

He received his Certificate of Advanced Individual Training in the Brigade of Military Police, at the U.S. Army Training Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia--awarded by the United States of America War Office on June 12, 1969.

Sergeant Sullivan was presented with a Civilian Police Badge by the San Marion Police Department during 1968-1970, and then, on   December 18, 1970 served as a Deputy Marshal of the Municipal Courts for the County of Los Angeles.

Deputy Marshal Sullivan received his Specialized Law Enforcement Certificate for having fulfilled the requirements for character, education, training, and experience as prescribed in Title 11 of the California Administrative Code from the Department of Justice of the State of California from The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

On December 31, 1974 he retired from the Military Police with an Honorable Discharge from the Armed Forces of the U.S. as a testimonial to his Honest and Faithful service.

On January 2, 1976, Sullivan swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the U.S. and of the State of California to faithfully discharge the duties of his office as an active Investigator for the California District Attorney's office.

The State of California's Department of Justice awarded him his Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Certificate in Specialized Law Enforcement from the Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training on April 10, 1979.

Criminal Investigator and Internal Affairs officer Sullivan received his Post-Certification from the Advanced Officers' Course from Rio Hondos College's Department of Public Service, Administration Justice Center on March 7, 1981.

Continually striving to master Criminal Investigation and take it to new heights, he again went back to school, and on September 5, 1987, the Trustees of the California State University, Los Angeles awarded Sullivan the degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

He was then awarded certification as a Credit Card Fraud Investigator after completing the Fraud Control Training of the International Association of Credit Card Investigators at the Los Angeles Police Academy on October 21, 1982.

Officer Sullivan received his Masters of Public Administration in 1991 from the California State University, Los Angeles, and on June 2, 1998, his Masters of Science in Criminal Investigation from the College.

From February 1968 to May 1970, he was a Police Officer of the San Marion Police Department and from June 1970 to July 1974, he was a Deputy Marshal of the Marshal's Office in Los Angeles, California.

Concomitant with his police service, he served as an Operations Sargent for the Military Police from 1969-1975 and taught at the Military Police Academy. During this time he also was assigned to the Army CID at FT Lewis, Washington.

From July 1974 to September 1986 he worked for the Bureau of Investigation, as a D.A. Investigator.

Professor Sullivan began Sullivan Investigation in Altadena California in 1988 and has been active ever since.

He has been active with the American Academy for Justice through Science since 1995. At his acceptance of the Presidency of the Academy Board of Criminal Investigations for the Academy,  he advocated the building of a fixed location to teach students of Criminology in addition to teaching through our Tele-learning curriculum.  Professor Sullivan will also offer undergraduates employee hours working through the InfoJustice College outreach program at Sullivan Investigations.  This will allow our students to sit for examination as Licensed Investigators and administrative positions in Law Enforcement.  He has volunteered to join the Academy's team of Operations and Dissemination in teaching the programs and development of the College of Criminal Investigation.   To strive for cutting-edge Technology emphasis in the Criminal Investigative Science Departments of our core curriculum.

The American Academy for Justice Through Science is proud to have Professor Gregory Sullivan on board and to have appointed him diplomat status with the Academy. With his Diplomats in Forensic Investigation and Anti-Fraud Examination, Forensic Science and Anti-Fraud Examination, Forensic Engineering and Technology, Masters of Criminal Investigation (dual masters), Fellowship on the Board of Advisors to the College and President of the InfoJustice College Board of Investigation he will be an invaluable asset.

We at the Academy look forward to achieving the goal of having a fixed location at which quality students can come and learn investigative science--spreading the Academy's mission of Justice Through Science in real-world settings.
